zero2hero is a charity that looks at increasing the understanding and raising the awareness of mental health services among children and young people through programs, camps, events and education. Their aim is to unleash the heroes of today and to become leaders of tomorrow throughout their communities. One of the most powerful ways that zero2hero do this is through the Camp Hero where they empower school aged children and teenagers with the skills to speak up when they are struggling and to stand up and support their friends when they may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, bullying, self-harm or suicidal thoughts.

We recently sponsored 25 students to attend a mental health leadership camp run by zero2hero. See below a short video from some of the students on Camp Hero and their appreciation of Access Hire’s support.

In addition to sponsoring camps, Access Hire have had staff participate as mentors in some of their programs. We look forward to further supporting this great organisation in the future.
