The branch opening is a strategic decision that aligns with Access Hire’s business model to facilitate the hiring, selling, servicing and transporting of world leading brands of access equipment across Australia. The Central Coast site allows excellent connectivity to transport corridors that allows the area to be globally connected to markets via airport and freight port hubs of Sydney and Newcastle, including Sydney International Airport, Port Botany (Sydney) and the Port of Newcastle.
According to Mitch Ely, Chief Operating Officer at Access Group, the Central Coast branch opening presents an opportunity for Access Hire to positively contribute to the local economy, promote business, and support growth in the area. “The Access Hire branch opening plans to capture the Central Coast market and support the local economy’s growth, and additionally take advantage of the current M1 upgrades and the delivery of North Connex, which will provide greater connectivity in the New South Wales region.” The Central Coast Regional Growth Plan 2036 guides the NSW government’s land use planning priorities over the next 20 years, which estimates that the population will increase by 75,500 individuals and 24,674 new jobs will be created by 2036.
